Possibly, but it shouldn't read subtitles at all without already running
a media file, but rather just skip them. :)

Maybe it's obvious, but for sake of completeness I should also mention
that it's the exact same problem when watching videos, say a series or a
movie split up on several parts, if there is a text file in the
directory.
