Public bug reported: Windows of non-gtk apps (like Firefox, Thunderbird, Openoffice...) are flickering and can't be kept maximised (and lead to declaration error in Metacity, a bug that apport can't report) and windows which are auto maximised (example of chromium when you click a changelog link in update manager) got a spurious and bad looking (see screenshot). I think it's linked with CSD activation in GTK, because it didn't occur before.
