Works fine on dapper i386 and amd64 and edgy amd64 for me, it has
probably been fixed by a new version, marking as fixed. Feel free to
reopen if you get the issue again with dapper-updates or edgy

It did this in 32bit Dapper; I think I was using totem-gstreamer. I have
reinstalled Dapper 64bit since and it seems to be working fine with either
backend. The bug may be arch specific and/or fixed in Edgy.

totem-gstreamer or totem-xine? It works fine with totem-gstreamer on my
edgy desktop installation
