bug was reported upstream, it was simply in the works. Please let me

Hello Sebastien,
I actually spoke to Matthew Barnes concerning account info being stored in
~/.gconf
Evolution has plans to change this moving account info to ~/.evolution (most
likely for Evolution 3.2, next March).
This bug is basically open to state the issue that if only backing up
thank you for your bug report, that's not a bug but a GNOME design
decision and not something Ubuntu is going to change, not that evolution
has built in options to do backups of its configuration and restore
those so users should not have to deal with those details
