Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
The Media Handling feature of Nautilus (formerly gnome-volume-manager, I believe) does not treat Rockbox-powered media devices as "Music Players". Steps to Repeat: 1. Open a Nautilus window. 2. Click Edit > Preferences 3. Click the "Media" tab. 4. For "Music Player" select any program. For this example, I will choose Rhythmbox. 5. Connect a Rockbox-powered USB music device to the computer. Expected Result: After the Rockbox device is connected, Rhythmbox starts automatically. Actual result: After the Rockbox device is connected, nothing happens. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nautilus "Media Handling" does not treat Rockbox devices as Media Players. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/615133 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
