Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Hello.
I have added a second keyboard layout to my system, and since then, a keyboard
layout indicator has appeared on the system tray. Since I want to be able to
change between keyboard layouts only with a key combination I have set
(Alt+Shift), I don't want the current layout being shown on the system tray.
However, there is no way to remove that indicator from the tray (left click
just switches between layouts and right click does not provide an option for
removing that indicator from the panel). So, it would be really nice if an
option for removing that indicator, would be added.
Thanks a lot, in advance.
