I've also discovered that if you have the have focus on the pane you unmount then the behaviour is as expected. The pane you unmount closes and the window stays open with the other pane(s) displayed. In other words the bug only occurs when you unmount something that is in a pane that does not

Hi Ross, I can confirm this bug. To reproduce the bug: 1. open nautilus. 2. Select File-Connect to Server. This will open a Connect To Server window. 3. Under Server Type, choose entry to connect to a server you are allowed and fill in required information, e.g.: host, login name, etc... 4.
