Binary package hint: nautilus

When I copy e.g. 100GB to an external drive (2TB, connected via eSata) the 
transfer rate starts at about 50MB/s and soon drops to 13MB/s. Both drives are 
ext4.
One thing I found quite strange is that while copying it used 400MB of swap 
space although free said there was still 1.4GB of RAM available. Maybe some 
kind of swapping slows the reading down!?
Might be same as bug #541937 (although then it's not only related to the link 
type).
