It would be nice to have true transparency in gnome panel when we enable
compiz for example. and not to have those white separators. or even when
we have the bar not to expand, we get 2 white borders in each side, wich
is ugly

Well, we can see that gnome-panel tries to identify the notification
area, by changing colors so that our eyes can see the dots.
I repeat my question: I guess you want a notification area with no
separator, right?

In my computer, panel with 0 or 100% opaque, separator has the white
color.

The separator itself is white. What you want? It was transparent too?
I hope if it is transparent, we don't need a separator.
