Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
The clock applet in the panel shows the same time for a while, until I actually move the panel. Once I move the panel, the clock is finally refreshed, giving the impression of a time jump.. So I can't trust the time shown by the gnome panel. This bug might affect other applets as well, I think sometimes the network applet stays freezed in a specific state, but I am not 100% sure of this. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS Release: 10.04 pt-cache policy gnome-panel gnome-panel: Installé : 1:2.30.2-0ubuntu0.2 Candidat : 1:2.30.2-0ubuntu0.2 Table de version : *** 1:2.30.2-0ubuntu0.2 0 500 http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: gnome-panel 1:2.30.2-0ubuntu0.2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-25.44-generic 2.6.32.21+drm33.7 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-25-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon Oct 18 23:35:31 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-panel InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release amd64 (20100429) ProcEnviron: LANG=fr_FR.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-panel XsessionErrors: (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:2091): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (Do:2054): Wnck-CRITICAL **: wnck_set_client_type got called multiple times. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug lucid -- Display of clock in panel doesn't refresh https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/662970 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
