Thank you for reporting this bug. Marking this as confirmed. Were the
owner settings made by default when you installed it? If this is the
default settings after install than i think it needs to be fixed, That
is why im not closing this yet.

I'had the same kind of problem with a KDE program (kile) because of the
.DCOPserver.
Now it's ok

I've found out why changes aren't being made when you add/edit/delete
entries. The .local directory and it's sub directory are all owned by
root with a mask or rwx-- so the user can not make amendments. I
changed ownership to my username and I can make changes now.
