I don't believe this is how the GDM designers and developers want to do
this. As we don't intend to override their decision, I'm closing this
bug.
You can try opening a bug on GNOME's bug tracker, but I'm skeptical the
bug will be fixed.

gdm should use the theme of the user when there is only on
@Chris if there is only one user on the computer wouldn't it be logical
that they changed the system settings when changing their themes. On
another computer they can just assume a diffrent system theme. That was
the whole point of this bug that since there is only *one* user that
user setting shou
Not sure if this a paper cut, certainly a edge case. But since it is
extremely annoying, the gdm theming could be labeled as a 'exitsing
feature' and it seems to be a trivial fix it thought i would report it
anyway.

I don't think this would be a good idea as it would provide an
inconsistent user experience between different computers. It's not a big
problem, but for some user it will be a source of confusion that may
lead them to believe that there is actually a difference between the two
computers.
