Don't know which package brought it... but I can choose a classic
desktop without accelaration from gdm :) That's all I needed, I'm happy
again with the removed effects tab :) No longer needed (at least this
option should have been present before removing the tab but that another
story ;))!

And as I understand it---Gnome3 won't be available anytime soon.so
that leaves us with Unity. What about Gnome-Shell? Will that also not
be available until 11.10?
