If I select the option to take a screenshot of just one window (in Gimp)
and mark Gimp I get the attached result.

Impressive. Could you take the same screenshot using
Gimp->Create->Screenshot... so we can see what's focused? (I can't
reproduce it locally so we need to work out what it is from other
sources).
