I can confirm this behaviour with xubuntu edgy using xfce. With xbindkeys and a keybinding, or an xfce keybinding, with nautilus --no-desktop and a particular directory as argument, nautilus sometime opens 3 to severals additional windows, launched with the --desktop command or no option and argum
