Screen brighness randomly changes on Lenovo Y560 laptop

Mine always darkens, and it sometimes goes to ~%70, but other times it
seems to go all the way down.
Also, I've updated the BIOS and graphics drivers and the problem still
occurs.

I have a Lenovo Ideapad Y560 with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730, and
had the same problem.
I have upgraded the BIOS to version 71 and the problem seems to be
solved. I have downloaded the BIOS from the Lenovo driver download page
specific to the Ideapad Y560
i also have this issue.
i normally keep my brightness on full.
so then it always gets darker when this occurs.
it seems to go to 70% brightness. i quickly put it back to 100% so i
dont know if it would continue to darken
