I am not sure how easy it is to reproduce so some details here:
evince is in fit width view and the file has no index (yuck) so
thumbnails are displayed instead.
The thumbnail view is wider than the sidebar.
Pressing PgDn results in scrolling of the main page view. Every time a
page scrolls out
