It means, please install 'terminator' and test the same you're testing
on gnome-terminal with that terminal emulator, also please do it with a
newer version of Ubuntu, 10.04 has a old version of vte which has some
bugs that should be fixed on 11.04 or 11.10. Thanks again.

I am not sure what that means or what I should do to diagnose. FWIW it
seems to lock up when scrolling past the super-long line of
's that mysql puts before and after the data result

BTW I was able to get around this problem by using \G format for mysql
output. And, the same problem occured with other terminals like roxterm
and xfce4-terminal. Just make a big field and fill it with a gigantor
line. -Mark
