The launchers are stored to .gnome2/panel2.d/default/launchers. Do you
get the same behaviour if you create the launcher on feisty?

The launchers were created by right clicking on the panel --> Add to
panel --> Custom application Launcher --> then filling in the launcher
name, say "albany" and the command "gkrellm --server alb.u13.net"
Where are launchers stored?

Thank you for your bug. How do you create those launchers? Could you
attach one to the bug? A launcher with "gedit --new-document %U" works
fine on my feisty desktop
