Same behaviour with 8.10. But you don't need to create a new profile.
Here's how to reproduce it:
. untick all active? ticks, exept the one you need to use (let's say MP3),
assuming it's not already selected.
. select the only active profile.
. try to extract, and the profile used is the pre

Thank you for your bug. Any reason you have all the format inactive?
That looks like a special case, setting low importance, to forward
upstream by somebody who gets the problem

I deactivated all the other formats as I do not need them. If possible I
would have deleted them, too. But that does not seem to be possible as
they are the default formats.
