Public bug reported:

The message list pane is completely gray.  Right or left clicking
results in the correct action, but you cannot see what message you are
clicking on.  I've dumped the ./local/share/evolution folder and set
everything back up, same problem.  This is with the Exchange MAPI
account and the "local" folders.  Everything else appears normal,
including the message preview window (which also changes when you click
on an "invisible" message in the "empty" message list.
