The quicklists were modified to support the new desktop modifications.
And Unity at present does not support these modifications. Until then,
you wont be able to see the quicklist.

Thanks all for the patch. I made a few updates and submitted it
upstream, specifically I used the latest Unity Launcher API/
freedesktop.org desktop spec and I used _Name so that it would be
translatable.
