after opening a file in Totem (or VLC) Xo
Now all's ok. I tried opening VLC and now X works perfectly. Maybe last
upgrades fixed the issue.

I have the same bug. Can't play videos in totem and vlc. When I tried
then crashed X and I will logouted...

The bug doesn't affect the same distro ona machine with nvidia card. Is
that issue ATI related?
