Hi Beth. You installed the latest orca in such a way that it replaced
the ubuntu version. That is generally bound to give you upgrade problem.
Normally this kind of bug would just be rejected as unsupported, but you
are right that peole will often do this. And we do actually want to
encourage peope
Yes, I had the latest updates. It may have been a freak thing. I did
the standard upgrade from 6.10 to Feisty using the command line and
then that brought up the update thing with the upgrade button that I
clicked on. It was using the us repositories.
I fixed it by uninstalling orca and gnopericus.
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this problem. Were you upgrading from
the internet? Did you have the latest updates for 6.10 before upgrading
to feisty?
