Yes, the problem still occurs on Lucid (Beta 2). I can reliably produce
a segmentation fault by double-clicking on a midi file, allowing it to
play to the end and start the next (non-midi) track, and then double-
clicking on a midi file. The segfault happens as this second midi file
starts to play.

Isn't this by design? Thumbnails *should* be bigger than icons.
They're thumbnails.
If a row consists only of icons, it's narrower, so that screen real
estate isn't wasted with giant icons when small icons are equally
legible. I believe Windows 7 does the same thing, and it should be left
as is.

Unless I'm mistaken, that's still the february 11th 2010 release,
which is 10.0.45.2. It's still considered a pre-release "alpha
refresh" version.
10.1 is still 32-bit only.
FWIW, I've had good luck with mozilla-plugin-gnash lately. It does
real 32bit and 64 bit support, and is a lot more stable.

Actually fixing gnome-settings-daemon may not be the best solution. There are

This bug appears to be fixed now in Lucid. I was reminded of this
because now every time there's a font upgrade, I get a brief flicker,

I found just now that these duplicates are only in evolution email sent folder!
I went in email sent folder on website gmail and no duplicates I found!

I opened a videopodcast, which made rythembox suggest that i should
install a mpeg4 (proprietary) codec.
After having installed the suggested codec the line under the play
button in rythmbox does not move anymore during playback and it is not

It seems this bug were only active while the podcast i was playing
during the installation of the mpeg4 codec was still in rythmbox, after
deleting this file full operatability was restored.
I dont know if this "bugreport" should be just deleted ?

Any progress developers? Rhythmbox is still crashing for me. I thouht it
maybe a MacBook Pro issues, since it has quite a lot issues under Ubuntu
(which is a shame)

@Brian: in my case, the problem was resolved by some of the recent updates to
Lucid. I can't point out which one fixed it unfortunately.
@Manuel: I would suggest you run the update manager and try again once you've
got the latest version of everything.

show unread mails or do something different useful.
