This is weird indeed. Theoretically 2.12 should sport support for > 2G.
I cannot test it myself (I run on x86_64 -- automagic support for large
files --, and Evo 2.22). Upstream confirmed that there *is*, huh, should
be, such support on 2.12.x.

This seems like a dup of bug 177709. Did you see the Crash Recovery
dialog -- at least once? It has an option not to show it again, and then
you will be put straight into Evo, with Preview disabled.

all bt'. I had a typo on 'apply'.

The "top posting" options were in a, well, state of flux. when Gutsy was
released. As of current Evolution in Hardy (2.21.4), the Top Posting
options are editable. I am keeping this bug as incomplete for a while,

are not doing anything wrong -- this is how it works. The mail-
