We are starting to write the release notes now, so please add any
changes to the wiki if you haven't already!

Hi everyone!
The 3.19.x cycle is drawing to a close. With the UI freeze behind us, it is
time to think about all the cool stuff that will be released with 3.20. So,
please spend a minute to add any user or developer facing changes to the
wiki page:

Anyone can add to the wiki page. Just be sure
I know that you have more to tell me about. Don't be shy!

Yes, it's that time already: 3.18 is starting to loom, and we need to

If you've worked on anything user (or developer) facing, we need to
hear about it. Don't worry about whether the change is too small to
Hi everyone,
It's that time again! Please take a moment to think about the user and
developer features that you have worked on for 3.12 and add them to
the wiki:

Thanks!

Hey everyone,
3.10 is shaping up really nicely, and it's time to start thinking
about what we want to put in the release notes. Please, please spend a
bit of time to make a note of anything you have done this cycle:

This is your final call! The Release Notes are pretty much done and
I'm looking to get them nailed down at the beginning of next week.
If you have anything that should be included and isn't [1], please
fill in the wiki page [2] asap.

Some of you have been awesome and have given me nice notes on what you
did over the past 6 months. The rest of you are very bad people.
There is time to redeem yourselves, but the window of opportunity is closing.

Hi all,
It's that time again! GNOME 3.8 is due for release on 27 March: that
means we have about two weeks to get the release notes fully written -
that's not much time at all.
Enter a trance-like state. Cast your mind back over the last six
months. Ask yourself: is there anything I have done

I'm going to start writing a first draft of the release notes very soon.
There are still a bunch of apps that are missing from the preparatory
notes [1], however. I know for certain that there have been improvements
to gedit... What about Empathy? What about games? What about Rhythmbox?
What about
We are now under a month from release - and we need your help!
Thank you to those of you who have added content for the Release

We have so far:

Dear developers,
I heard a rumor that GNOME 3.0 has some small changes to the GNOME
desktop and GNOME development platform.
Assuming that rumor is true, it's time for you to tell us what those
changes are!

Hi!
Do we have a plan? Has the Release Team documented this anywhere? I
can't write about it if I don't know about it. :)
Such a plan would probably not be worth the paper it is written on. Sure,
there will be 2.32.x releases until GNOME 3.0 is released but I doubt that
any module

Last 2.x release, but not last 2.32.y release? I'd assume accumulated
bugfixes would just warrant another few micro releases, as they always
have done.
However we want to handle it, I think we should be clear in the release

Hi,
We're still pretty light on content for the upcoming 2.32 release. I

weren't backported and some developers are doing a maintenance release.
