OS and Linux use the same X server; however recent releases of xorg don't need a xorg.conf anymore. You can create one by dropping back to single user mode, running `Xorg -configure` as root and moving it to /etc/X11/xorg.conf. You also should be able to use your old file. regards, Andreas On Wed
