Just a quick bump on this one as it's been hanging around for a while
now. A number of suggestions have been made for using a more descriptive
icon, which seems like a logical solution since the current one gives
the impression the app is related to gardening work in some way.

This problem appears to be resolved for me on an installed precise
system. Copying bar.desktop to ~/Desktop/ and once I allow the file to
be executable (right click, properties), the icon text shows line 1 as
Install Ubuntu 12.04 and line 2 as LTS.

That should be so, as it has a picture folder. But it should _also_
offer you to open it in Rhythmbox, and Rhythmbox should show it as a
media player. Does it?

Matthjis, the presenter console is an extension and not part of core
LibreOffice. The extension is bundled with the release though since
LibreOffice split off OpenOffice.
As it's pretty small and a great value-add, I'd love to see it
installed by default.

1) Your report mentions 12.04, 11.04, and then 11.10. Which version are
you using?
2) The issue as it seems to me is that gnome-nettool, aka Network
Tools shows you have eth0 and Network Connections does not. If you run
ifconfig, do you see eth0? I'm trying to
