gedit. As stated if gksudo gksudo gedit is run, it doesn't create the empty
document. Therefore, adding this:

I think I might have made a mistake and attributed an improvement in the
situation to LO instead of to a faster computer. It is true that now

As Unity 2D has been removed from 12.10 there is a need for another
workaround. I found out that the flash player settings dialog works in
Gnome classic (No effects) -session in 12.10 64 bit Ubuntu.

appropriate codecs/files to decode those specific DVD, more than a bug
