hi guys. happened to me. Chrome works, Chromium doesn't.This is
most definately a bug, however I may have a workaround for the time
being
I was sure it was a flash thing. So I checked out my plugins
type 'about:plugins'
look for Flash and disable it. Then re enable it.
Thats it.
I think I have the above workaround that dealt with the issue at hand.

Updated alsa-lib and alsa-plugins to latest version 1.0.27.
Unfortunately the a52 plugin makes pulseaudio crash immediately. Had to
compile the alsa-plugins against libav 9 instead of libav 0.8.6 (that
comes with raring) to make it work! Unfortunately the problem with audio
breaking up persists.

The problem is that you upgraded to 13.04, but still have packages from the
makson PPA installed. You need to run the following command to get back to a
default state:
sudo ppa-purge ppa:makson96/fglrx

Well the Ubuntu Updates for Partial upgrade was not related to Banshee
but to a wine 1.6 rc1 and today rc2 which sports 2 same binaries
(executable files in /usr/bin/) in 2 different packages ... coming

The latest version of gnome-menus has renamed applications.menu file:

installed on my PC.

After seeing your success I too added the new package from the PPA and
upgraded Banshee. It works!
I had been having the same issue as you but using a Samsung Galaxy SII
on Ubuntu 13.04.

Actually I think they might be working on a fix to this indirectly with
Mir, just like wayland is trying to do.
So maybe this bug (or a new bug) should get attached to Mir so they
don't forget to test it.

So, I put in more time than I'd care to admit getting the gnome source
compiling so I could test this. It appears the latest version does not
have this issue, though I could not find a bug directly related to this.
