When ripping CDs to MP3 using Rhythmbox, by default they are VBR,
because this is the default preset that is used in
/usr/share/gstreamer-0.10/presets/GstLameMP3Enc.prs (cbr=false). The
problem is that the VBR headers aren't added to the MP3 files, for
example:

ls -lR /sys/class/power_supply/*hid* /tmp/out.txt
udevadm info --export-db /tmp/out.txt
grep -r . /sys/class/power_supply /sys/class/bluetooth/ /tmp/out.txt

Personally, I don't think this is going to happen unless chromium becomes the
default browser. For one thing, chromium is already updated for security
issues: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1198529
Backporting chromium will take more work than FF because chromium
The last good kernel was 3.8.0-8.17 and the first bad kernel was
3.8.0-9.18. The changelog between the two releases is rather small but I
do not really have an idea which change could be the culprit.
