This happened when I ran apt-get dist-upgrade off a fresh install of
14.10. I had already loaded the propriatary nvidia drivers from
331-updates and reboot. Apt-get gave me kernel updates, and while they
were being applied apport popped up to tell me this bug occured.
This was the only error not

The solution given above works correctly untul evolution (3.10.4)
encounters a problem such as pop summary not available or mail server
timed out. It looks like evolution wants an immediate response from a
pop mail server or it throughs all sorts of bogus errors plus removes
the passwords.

This duplicate is my fault, my apport reported a different nvidia
version than the nvidia version in the existing bug, so I was not sure

This bug is like https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1268257, but for a new
version of nvidia-331-uvm. I just ran the software updater, and got a
dialog box asking me if I wanted to report this error. I can't recall
more of what the dialog box said.
