I have installed xscreensaver into Ubuntu 14.04.
I had to replace gnome-screensaver{,-command} with xscreensaver to get it to
work.
But after that I find that DPMS is Disabled, and it annoys me.
Even without activating xserver, the xset power management is broken:
I could enable DPMS with this
That's problem in the applications, not input methods or im-config. For
the chrome stuff it's known you have to get GTK2 IM Module installed,
otherwise the XIM support in Aura is broken (and Google is not intending
to fix that).

Grouped by Sort view is not saved in Unified Folders
I think it happens with me sometimes. When I login to the desktop, it
crashes, reload and asks me to report the problem. I usually ignore that
but might be the same issue that Lance is facing!
Maybe I should file a bug next time to see what is going on :)

Under 14.04.2, it is completely impossible to install the OpenGL Utility
Library (GLU) development files. This is a showstopper if you do OpenGL
development make use of GLU, something that is very often the case.
In 14.04.1 this worked without a hitch, one could install libglu1-mesa-

which uses Oxide:

The same driver bites my ass on both 14.04 and 14.10 actually. I am
forced to install Windows on my machine (and lose bcache) on a machine
of mine after this driver made the entire system too unstable.

This is the first occurence of this problem for me. I've been using

does not matter, really):
1) Connect to a samba share on your network
2) Close nautilus
3) Connect to a network where a there is no route to a server with the samba
share
4) Open nautilus (hangs for about 2 - 3 minutes)
