It's worth testing this with earlier kernels; do you have one where this
was known to work still? You shold still have some older kernels in the
grub boot menu, under Advanced options.

Uhm... I am not sure if that actually works as it should.
First, I tried to apply the pt_BR.UTF-8 locale (using export

therefore the workaround would only work after installing the language pack,
probably that will create the

However, the latter was already fixed in an earlier package version than
the one in this report. This might be a regression or because the

I couldn't switch from headset to ad2p mode (have Sockets disabled).
I accidently found out that by clicking the 'mute' button on Logitech headset,
it automatically switched to ad2p.
There are now two entries for the headset in pavucontrol/configuration. Both
say Logitech Wireless Headset.
Thank you Gunnar for the explanation.
Indeed, adding export LC_CTYPE=pt_BR.UTF-8 to ~/.profile worked. It seems
that the combination
of sudo locale-gen pt_BR.UTF-8 and that works nicely and that it is a nice
workaround.
I don't understand yet exactly how this can become a defintive solution.
Hi Christopher,
unfortunatelly it's not a bios problem. I updated it to last version and
problem persist. As I mentioned before, it looks like kernel problem for
me.
So, after bios update message remained the same.
