When I plug in external speakers to "headphone out" on the laptop the
internal speakers are turned off but when I plug the speakers into the
docking station (HP UltraSlim Dock 2013 EURO, D9Y32AA) music keeps
playing in the internal speakers.

The latest Uubntu update from 6.27 fixes Metacity theme support but NOT
transparency. The "add-gtk-frame-extents-to-net-supported" is based on
0.9.12.0, not 0.9.12.1 and it seems the later version stripped out the
underlying code that permitted the simple published patch

I have almost the same problem (with xmonad instead of i3) after my
upgrade from ubuntu 14.04 to 15.04. However sudo gnome-control-center
doesn't work either. env | grep XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP doesn't return

Was caused by switch to systemd from upstart. Instead of pm-suspend,
systemd uses systemd-sleep. Instead of running scripts in
/etc/pm/sleep.d/ and /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/ it runs scripts in
/lib/systemd/system-sleep/. However, no script is installed here to
call pm-powersave, and systemd doe
I had the same problem when upgrading from 14.04 -> 14.10 and then again
from 14.10 -> 15.04. My solution -which I found somewhere in the web-
was the same both times: Simply delete(!) /etc/bluetooth/audio.conf (or
rename it) and restart the bluetooth service. At least this worked for
me.
