I've just done a fresh install today of 16.04.2 which has network
manager version 1.2.2. Once the updates are completed the network
manager has been upgraded to version 1.2.6. I can confirm that the

I suspect you will have the same issue with gnome-shell. budgie and

not mean that one can reliably use this to connect. Generally I have to
suspend, re-awake and then use 'nmcli c up id *' to connect. A poor
