Every once in a while, text will disappear. If you're wondering which
text, the answer is any text. What I've typed in an office doc will be
invisible, but selectable. Icon labels are invisible, but highlighted
when clicked. Options in the control panel, and so on.
At the time of reporting my system was in a unsupportable half-upgraded
state between Yakkety and Zesty. Obviously given that it's hard to
expect stability, but I've since fixed that and am running a proper
Zesty environment (with Evolution 3.22.6-1ubuntu1). I and am still
seeing the issue.

No remounting or editing of permissions changed nautilus' permissions

I have seen that the 'gp107' folder contains links to files in the

startup slow. This is because it downloads all the icons for each
popular app before showing them. In the other plugins the icons are
always local (downloaded with AppStream data). So I think this needs

I did find an link to the very-last version of GoogleChrome for 32bit
Linux (one that Google didn't manage to obliterate from the internet)
and the extension works there, although it whines and moans that it's an
obsolete and unsupported version. So I know it is not dependent on

of this issue is somewhere between pulseaudio and bluetooth.

I've just updated my Ubuntu to 17.04, and it seems to be fine now. I can
now stop the bluetooth or reboot and have the system automatically
reconnected to my BT speaker in A2DP mode.

@vanvugt Given that this issue is for pulseaudio and deals with
bluetooth, a backport fixing this issue eventually also fixes #1589008.
In case it does, #1589008 eventually is a duplicate, or vice-versa.
In respect to #1589008: I'm really frightened that one day I still
switch bluetooth profiles

@b2109455 I have two Arctic P311 (one is ~3 years old and one is ~5
years old). For both, the quality of the microphone is not sufficient to
talk with somebody. I can only use A2DP with it, which is perfectly fine
