Since the upgrade from Orca 3.22 to 3.24 or 3.25 it is no longer
possible to start Orca if it wants to use GSettings.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Upgrade to the last gnome-orca release
2) Remove the folder "~/.local/share/orca/" if you've it

I forgot to tell you it is an important issue because blind users
couldn't use Ubuntu anymore until this bug is not resolved.

It seems simple-scan can no longer communicate with my scanner, although
it was able to scan with the same hardware before. The hardware is
found, but simple-scan reports communication errors. The hardware itself
works.
