tried it again with daily image from today (9.Sept) still the same, followed
the dialog selected My Country and my Network-Provider finished the dialog, no
new connection, "Logs" shows:

Same here as @jeremie My settings are also partly forgotten after restart.
The build in display shall be off (I turned it iff and that apply worked) but

Ubuntu Gnome to default 17.10 to test it and Nautilus is unusable
