Heytimc, your problem looks like firewall block - the connection tries
to establish, but it fails. You can check if you affected by this bug
via terminal. Try to connect via terminal->type nmtui->choose
connect->select your vpn connection. If connection fails - it some kind
of network problem.

snapd-glib 1.24 now sends the cancel to snapd, however if you are using
a Polkit enabled snapd this method doesn't work through Polkit. This
causes an Ubuntu One dialog to pop up if not logged in.
This should be fixed in snapd so that cancels can occur the same way as
install/remove.

I _guess_ it shouldn't be that hard to patch screen to make an exception
to the "prepend 'screen.'" rule, and convert an implicitly created
"screen.xterm-256color" into "screen-256color". (I haven't checked
screen's source to see how easy it would be.)
