Well, actually I did switch to arch linux, not an ubuntu user anymore.
However I suppose it is still issue because of upstream ibus-libpinyin
package. Likely I would to post a bug report there but right now I am
simply fixing it for my self using simple patch like this:
```
@herrtimson we already confirmed that the gcc-7 / Bionic build crashes
on the exact same misaligned instruction in Skia. See responses #48 and
#50 for how I tested this, the point being that waiting for Bionic alone
won't fix this.
This still happens in 17.10, and it is probably because a DBUS call
Totem does, as deleting
problem.
Btw, gnome-screensaver-command -l doesn't even notify you when it didn't
do anything. At least cinnamon-screensaver-command -l
It is really a sad affair here. As far as I know Linux does not provide
a explicit means to limit the amount of memory an application can use.
The only reliable ulimit one can set is the virtual size limit. It feels
also strange that DejaDup pulls a full web-browser into its background
daemon. And
Marco, can we close this bug as obsolete now?
