It's getting a bit tiresome now and I have little faith in it being
corrected. I have spent quite a bit of time researchin
seanlano, if you boot the live cd and then run "dpkg -l libblockdev-
crypto2 | cat", what do you see? How about "dpkg -l udisks2 | cat"?

Yes, I understand the reason for the Recommends. By "integrating with

Just wanted to chime in on the upgrade path problem. I also upgraded
from Ubuntu 17.10 and I also never set this shortcut anywhere. I have
always used Super+Space and I have never used the Gnome Tweaks tool
before. Using it to disable the shortcut fixed all the issues and the
shortcuts using Shift

When I move the mouse, multiple flashing mouse pointers appear on the

I still encounter this issue after upgrade my bionic to the latest update.
The only way to boot to graphic shell is config to using lightdm as default.
Now I'm in unity session and try to install nvidia-396 to see if it fix this
issue.

Hi,
As discussed with duflu on irc, here are the steps I took to reproduce
and produce a log:
1. Enable debug in /etc/gdm3/custom.conf
2. Reboot
3. From other laptop; ssh wendigo journalctl -f
4. Intentially login with a faulty password first, which made GDM just prompt
as normal
5. Login w
