I have tried building ibus 1.5.7 without the ubuntu patches, which did
not solve the problem. I have also tried building ibus 1.5.8 from debian
and that did not solve the problem either.

I too had my first failure today using the new kernel, manifesting itself
in the same way.
It's getting a bit tiresome now and I have little faith in it being
corrected. I have spent quite a bit of time

crypto2 | cat", what do you see? How about "dpkg -l udisks2 | cat"?
