2. Download some deb-file to the desktop - for with help of terminal:
cd ~/Desktop
apt-get download meld
3. Install GDebi package installer with
sudo apt install gdebi
4. Select deb-file on desktop, make right
This is affecting me with nvidia-prime 0.8.10 on Cosmic. Is that

This bug only occurs when using the GTK3 dialogues (libreoffice-gtk3
installed).
Under certain conditions print to file over-writes an existing pdf file
in the chosen folder which doesn't match the name chosen by the user
(and without any warning or confirmation dialog).
This screenshot manages to show the problem.
Here I have typed in the 'Name' field 'test_2.pdf' when I already have
that filename in my folder (as well as the dummy sample.pdf). I then
press Enter, expecting to get the confirmation dialogue box asking about
overwriting the file.

Being a more or less "normal" user, I find this behaviour highly
unexpected.
When I decide for auto-login, I do decide that access control to my
computer is carried out by my house door and its locks, I do not want to
be bothered with password prompts after every resume.

For me, it's not nVidia, it's not WaylandEnable. It may be the "Started
bpfilter" message, which I earlier thought was nothing. I don't know
beans about this, but I checked, and bpfilter is a recent replacement
for iptables in many Linux distros, and it's handled in the linux
