I set up "Enter Standby After 5 seconds". But drive doesn't go into standby
after 5 seconds. Same with disabled APM setting and with APM Level 1 and 127.
If I manually click "Standby Now", then HDD goes into standby and remains in

For some reason I nearly missed your email, Google sent it to Promotions
and I only found it because it came up on my phone.
Cold reboot does not show the option of Wayland but logging out did but the
HDMI still failed to come up.

Another quick confirm - tested on ISO 210719 Ubuntu Impish from the Qa

Well I played with this some more in Hirsute and I wonder if I may have
jumped the gun.
If I give it a minute to idle the power usage drops down to about 11-12
watts, which is about 2W more than using bbswitch or disabling the card
in BIOS.

To clarify I run my system on solar power - battery/inverter, it's much
cleaner than the grid around here, and cheaper.
The computer is left turned on all the time but the monitors (2) are turned
off to save powe
Issue also occurred on unity-session and xfce4-session
Now testing cinnamon-session (needing to run sudo apt install cinnamon-
desktop-environment)
