Great, thanks for the explanation. So blaming just the nvidia-drm kernel
module seems most reasonable right now. It is what's crashing after all.

I'm quite curious to understand how is possible that Gio would emit a

I installed Kubuntu 21.10 which comes with pulseaudio
1:15.0+dfsg1-1ubuntu2.2. When I start paprefs all network options are
greyed out. The problem seems to be, that the directory with the modules
is called /usr/lib/pulse-15.0+dfsg1, but paprefs expects the modules in
/usr/lib

and is a duplicate of bug #1961041, so is being marked as such.
May importante. I use Wireguard and have a mounted sft there. Since my update
to 21.10 it do not work anymore.
Goal here is to have imediately after login a mounted drive.
I never found a recommended way how to automount a network drive in Ubuntu.

The fix is in gnome-control-center version 41 and later. So that's in
Ubuntu 22.04 only right now. And in fact it was only released to Ubuntu
22.04 in November/December.
This doesn't appear to be a severe bug. I'm not sure if such a design
