I never got it to work in 20.04, so I don't know whether your fix ever
made it in.
I have just installed Jammy Jellyfish (22.04), and can confirm snaps
don't work in it when using autofs and nfs mounted home directories.
The prior work around was just never use any snap applications, which
was OK
In Ubuntu 22.04, firefox was automatically transitioned to the snap
package, which is published by Mozilla.
The snap will attempt to import existing profiles if it was never run before.
Could it be that you had installed/tried the firefox snap in the past, and thus
had already an existing profil
22.04 stable version has been released yesterday, and it still doesn't
work on Ubuntu 22.04.

Hello folks. Facing this issue as well, thank you very much for jumping
on it so quickly.
The workaround I found is to, instead of navigating to the inside of the
folder, just navigate to one level above, then click on the directory,
click on Save (this will make you enter the directory), and then
OK, I agree that this is not a security problem but UI issue only.
However, note that the UI says "Public key" and before that "Key
algorithm: RSA". As such, the public key should not have any extra bytes
at the start or at the end, just the public RSA 2048 bit key as is (as

After upgrading from 21.10 to 22.04 the old Firefox was removed from my
Dock favorites. I readded Firefox to my favorites which adds the Firefox
icon to the favorites as expected.
However, clicking on it will open the Firefox snap on the bottom of the
Dock. So now I have 2 Fi
