I managed to finally reproduce this by accident:
1. Set up 3 monitors.
2. Fullscreen a window on one of them.
3. The monitor with the fullscreen window accidentally lost HDMI
connection. When plugged back in it was frozen.

Francois, sadly it's not solved. I just checked and there was no update
pushed to gnome-shell that resolves this. The accent colors change in
the windows, but not in gnome-shell itself (see screenshot).

FWIW, I disabled the AppArmor profile and clients still don't connect or
rather geoclue times out, don't know what's going on but probably
separate bug. Even deleted my modem devices and masked modemmanger,
thinking it may be talking to that and hanging there

Here's another journal from the boot after the one before, with the same
settings as before (I've set MUTTER_DEBUG_TRIPLE_BUFFERING=never but not
yet rebooted).
My primary display should have multiple hangs in the last couple of
minutes here. I unwisely fullscreened a YouTube video in Firefox,
The attached patch is enough to get the service working but doesn't
accomodate for the GPS usecase, I expect there is more than the one
denial Julian listed.
I would suggest updating the profile as we can but not putting it in
enforce mode for mantic.

Yesterday I got crashes whenever I tried to maximize it or resize it.
I started Ubuntu on Wayland from SDDM though.
After I started it from GDM I no longer reproduce the problem, although
I rebooted in between so...
I didn't get a crash file in /var/crash. I attach the journal from

No, this is a fresh Mantic minimal install from 18/9 with all software
installed as snaps, except from MATLAB (propriety), RStudio (deb),
thinlinc (deb) and nautilus-dropbox (deb).
As I wrote above, I noticed that locale seems to be a mix of en_US and
en_DK and that even though I set it to en_DK

.config/user-dirs.dirs is rewritten at boot and logout/login and xdg-
user-dirs-update after correcting the file and logout/login does not re-
create the folders. It's not nautilus-dropbox since removing it does not
