Issue apeared sometime between beta 2 and the final release. Seems to
affect programs that run directly through alsa more than those that use
pulse. There are also times when recording will drop causing missed
words or sounds.

This bug seems to apear on a second computer I own with the same audio
chipset. All work arounds have been applied on both systems with no
noticeable change.

After running a full screen OpenGL game strange yellow boxes have
appeared in various programs with animated icons, In game there were a
few visual discrepancies that might have something to do with it...or at
least point to the issue in the driver. These appear in the
Stable on the 5 computers I run Ubuntu on.

corruption seems to be eog rather than libjpeg.
